My mum had been suffering from a big of a bad back the last few weeks and she couldn’t work out what is all about until we checked out the time she had spent playing on City Bingo.
She is a relative newcomer to the internet and apart from listening to the odd Gene Pitney song and sending me 20 emails by mistake she said that she never really uses it all that much. Because of this she was just using a laptop while sitting awkwardly on her sofa.
A Quick Game or Five?
When I was trying to work out why she was suffering from back problems for the first time I had a sneaky suspicion that she might have been using her laptop more than she was letting on. I decided to have a quick look at her browser’s history and found a huge list of City Bingo pages on it as well as the occasional visit to the official Gilbert O’Sullivan site.
I wasn’t surprised to see the Gilbert O’Sullivan site there, as I grew up to the sound of “Clair” and “Alone Again (Naturally)”. However, I hadn’t realised before then that she had become such a big fan of City Bingo. The cute cat on the site probably did it for her and now I have made sure that she now plays while sitting in a comfy chair.
